Family And Relationships

To all of your younger siblings and your younger cousins: When someone deliberately turns you against the eldest sibling or an elder in your family, understand what is really happening. You are being deprived of a relationship that could have given you so much: guidance, protection, wisdom, support, opportunities, love, and someone who may have stood beside you when others would not. And remember this: People who turn you against your own family, especially against those who are older than you, are not your friends. Never. A person who genuinely cares about you does not need to destroy your relationship with your own blood to gain your loyalty. And be very careful about what you are being encouraged to do. Because if someone can convince you to disrespect, hurt, or abuse your own elder, what makes you think they will always remain safe from the same behaviour? If they can turn you against your own family, they can eventually turn you against anyone. Do not let someone else's jealou...

Unlocking Time Affluence: Prioritize Time, Maximize Happiness

One key factor in enhancing personal happiness is carving out time for yourself—achieving what can be termed as "time affluence." When you hear the word "affluence," you might think of wealth, abundance, or material prosperity. Indeed, a quick search defines affluence as "the state of having a great deal of money." Time affluence, as defined by researchers, is the feeling that one has enough time to engage in meaningful activities, reflect, and enjoy leisure. On the flip side, time poverty is characterized by cons...

True Relationships

How unfortunate is the person who when achieves success or happiness, has no family to share it with? Even more unfortunate than this person is one, who has a family but his achievements do not matter to them; especially to the parents, who instead of rejoicing at their children's success, belittle their efforts. Much worse than this, would be parents discriminating against one of their children, while rejoicing at others' success. What would you say to that? Home is where the heart is! Perhaps God does not consider it important for all humans to have such biological relations who would share their happiness with them. Biological relations are not the only relations in the world. Those who rejoice at our success are our true family, true friends and true relationships. Home is where we are welcomed and loved.
