Sleep well !





Hey all teenage students! Have you ever felt an unpleasant change in your behavior in school or college days, especially when your daily routine is really hectic and you don't get enough time to rest? When there is a lot of workload on you and you don't get enough time to rest, especially at night, have you experienced mood swings, fighting over trivial matters, losing temper, etc? If yes, then I will tell you what the problem actually is, and also provide you with a solution.



I have had such an experience about some 7 months back when almost one month was left to my final exam. I had to study 14 hours daily. I would wake up at 6:00 am, go to school and then reach home at about 3:00 pm. Then I would study after lunch till 11:30 pm or 12:00 am. This means, I would be awake for 18 hours and sleep for only 6 hours at night.



In those days, as my daily routine was really hectic and exhausting, I became short tempered, impatient and experienced mood swings frequently. I tried to control myself and my emotions but could not. I wanted to get rid of it but failed to do so. The reason was that my night sleep was insufficient and the solution was to sleep for at least 9 hours at night, which is sufficient for all teenage students.



If you get an average of up to 5 or 7 hours of sleep at night, you'll become cranky, short tempered, start fighting with others for no apparent reason, become fed up of almost everything and lose interest in almost everything that used to interest you. Such restlessness will not only badly affect your personality but also ruin your mental condition and make you unsuccessful in one way or the other.

It is necessary for all teenage students to sleep for the said number of hours. Only then will you be able to carry out your everyday activities in a better way and will become successful, especially in studies.

yups! ur right..infact ur writing medical stuff here and dats wat actually happens to most of us coz of too much brain work and no sleep...no wonder us doc`s also freak out on our patients.. :p coz of long hours of ward duty!..
gud piece of work! keep it up..also write sumthin abt nutrition and skin diseases! lol
