Nanga Parbat (The Naked Mountain) is the ninth highest mountain in the world and the second highest in Pakistan. It is one of the eight thousanders, and is 8125 meters high. The eight-thousanders are the fourteen independent mountains on Earth that are more than 8000 metres high above the sea level.  

The dust tasted and smelt like that in my village back in Nowshera ! :-)

Tried to capture how it looks from there, when you're watching the tire move across the water.   Oh I almost fell off.

After travelling for hours in serious dust, inhaling and almost eating it.

My heart dances to the songs that the Karakorum sings It hears the music that the Karakorum plays Would anything less than the Karakorum make my heart dance?

I came across a bunch of very athletic kids at the Hargisa stream in Baltistan. They were so excited to see me and talk to me for a long time about their water sports and the valley. They thought I was a foreigner, which for them, ofcourse I was. They spoke Shina language. One of them spoke English too. It was fun meeting these kids and watching them dive into the rocky stream. Wish I could do the same. :-)
