Uttam, i'm glad your account finally worked. :-) And you're right. We all must unite and think as one human-beings. Regardless of our color, creed, race and religion. Peace be on everyone ! :-)

Excellent!

I am really impressed to see the philanthropism and resilience of the common people of my homeland in recent history. Despite the failure of successive governments, exploitation at the hands of corrupt political elite and a dysfunctional corrupt public sector bureaucracy, the people have helped themselves and their fellow human being s. The voluntary sector has really rose to the ocean to channelize these collective efforts to handle some of the history’s worst crises brought by war and natural disasters in a very short span of time. Olasyar seem to be one such noble effort.

My ancestral village is not located between Mardan and Swat so my own family has been actively involved in resettling the displaced people from the neighbouring districts in both of the recent crises. Living abroad one naturally feels moved by the plight of the people back home and feel s obliged to all those who help and give us hopes. One of my acquaintances is the founder director of a very good charitable organisation (Maulana Qasim of Alkahair Foundation UK) that has done a really good job in Nowshehra, Charsadda and Mardan recently and on his return he shared my views that mashallah we have a lot to celebrate even at the most difficult time of our history-

Thanks Olasyar and Keep on the Good Work:)
Thanks for your kind words Sir, and I agree with you on the failure of the govt to provide initial support to the affectees. We hope to empower individuals insha'Allah to be able to cope with such disasters in the future. We hope and pray that there be no such devastating disasters in the future. :-)
